Dr. Siano served as the superintendent of Norman Public Schools for 17 years. Under his leadership, the district embarked on a visionary capital investment plan to grow, enhance and upgrade its school facilities. Siano successfully passed and implemented eight bond issues across the district, resulting in more than $335 million in improvements and expansions. Through the bond program and other innovate measures, NPS transformed learning and extracurricular opportunities for students, including the creation of two freshmen academies and two college and career centers. Siano is a past president of the Oklahoma Association of School Administrators, as well as an OASA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
Danny Jardine has more than 35 years of experience in the design and construction industry. He is nationally recognized as an education facility planning and construction expert and has led the capital investment process as both a school administrator and as a consultant. As the chief operations officer for the largest school system in Georgia, he oversaw a $210 million budget, along with 3,400 employees who served 179,000 students. His expertise spans all areas of school operations including maintenance functions, student transportation, food services, planning and facilities. He recently managed $1.35 billion in projects for the nation’s sixth-largest school district.
Amber served as the executive director of communications for Enid Public Schools for two decades before joining the OSSBA team. While in Enid, she oversaw all elements of the district’s communications and public relations program including media relations, website management, crisis communications, internal relations and social media coordination. She successfully led three bond campaigns, resulting in more than $230 million in facility, technology and transportation improvements for students. She is president-elect of the Oklahoma School Public Relations Association, and she has earned numerous state and national communications-related awards.
